Scope & contribution

I built FieldGuardian as an individual full-stack project to bring crop cycles, field worker logs, and operational reporting into one application. I developed both the Spring Boot backend and the React + TypeScript frontend, with role-based access to reporting.

The story

Decisions behind the delivery

01Agriculture as structured dataChallenge

Farms run on overlapping cycles: crops, fields, staff, equipment. The system had to model that complexity without burying the people using it, and had to protect sensitive operational reporting behind proper authorization.

02Role-based security, enterprise structureApproach

I implemented role-based authorization in Spring Boot and built the React planning interface for crop cycles, worker logs, and operational reporting. Developing both sides let me connect the data model, access rules, and user workflows within one application.
