From idea to working software

From Matara on Sri Lanka's southern coast, I found my way into software through curiosity about how digital things work under the hood. That curiosity turned into a graduate diploma at the Institute of Software Engineering (IJSE) and a computer science degree with the University of Greater Manchester.

I work across TypeScript, React, Next.js, and NestJS, with Java and Spring Boot for backend development. I connect interface design, APIs, and data models so the product works as a whole. Clear requirements, reviewable changes, and documented deployment make it easier for the next person to build on the work.

At Twist Digital, I build across the frontend and backend of commercial platforms. Alongside this, I work directly with freelance clients on delivered products and ongoing builds, bringing technical ownership and clear communication from initial scope through to deployment and handover.

• Develop Novaland as a full-stack contributor, implementing backend services, reusable interfaces, and integrations for its virtual real estate and retail platform.
• Lead StyleFrame AI as its primary developer, making technical decisions across the retailer platform, backend, mobile foundation, and deployment.
• Configure development, staging, and production environments with custom domains and GitHub Actions workflows.
• Work with clients and marketing teams to clarify requirements, coordinate delivery with engineers, designers, and QA, and facilitate sprint retrospectives.

• Developed application layouts and server-side integrations using Next.js, NestJS, Prisma, and PostgreSQL.
• Built reusable UI components and coordinated asynchronous data flow between APIs and rendering engines.
• Contributed to requirements gathering and architecture discussions.

I turn requirements and Figma designs into reusable interfaces, with clear states for loading, validation, and user actions.
